We try to work with several communities by not only working with private business, but by working with the other 4 pillars of a community: government, community-based organizations, schools, and its residents. There is a proposed project that can reduce traffic and "Free the Way" (the campaign theme) for many commuters called the 57/60 Confluence Project. We are assisting the community by providing all of the alternatives to this project to educate them and help them decide which alternative will be best for them. In addition to developing the campaign theme, we have designed and developed all of the educational materials including this website: www.freetheway.org. Our hopes are that the community can come to a consensus on which alternative will work best for the communities involved, and that CalTrans will help fund the much needed project.
