West Covina Chamber of Commerce

We have had the complete honor to continue a relationship with the West Covina Chamber of Commerce by developing a brand new, innovative program that provides the Chamber a tool for increased membership acquisition and retention. In addition, the Chamber is able to enhance the benefits to its local businesses by offering them an extension to the program. I can't reveal too much, but it all started with revamping the Chamber's website. From the first day the site launched, the Chamber has been recieving glowing compliments via phone and email. Love to hear what you guy's think of it. Let me know. All the best... Charley.

Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition

Hey there. We just put together a few t-shirt designs for the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, LACBC. We know them because we had teamed up on a proposal to redesign the City of Los Angeles' bicycle maps. They were going to survey the routes and we were going to design and produce the maps. Anyway, long story short, the project was awarded to someone else, but we made a few good friends. Let us know what you think of the design comps. Cheers, Charley.

Lights Over Paris

Hey kids. Just finalized some of the branding of one of the bands that are with us. These guys are out of LA, and are the real deal. Very talented kids that can rock. Just was at the recording of their debut album and am very proud to be helping them out. We're starting on their website, tour bus graphics, album cover and so much more. Got to go, 'cause we only have 3 more months to get all this done. My partner Charley Randazzo, who is a legend when it comes to music video is also working with them. Take care and as always, let us know what you think. Cheers.

One Man War

Hello my loyal Avantgardians. Just wanted to share with you one of our newest clients, One Man War (OMW). OMW is gear and apparel that is geared toward the communities that are into ultimate fighting. Similar to how TapOut and other apparel companies have saturated the industry and have broken traditional methods of branding, we wanted to create a stong brand that was unique to their competition, but at the same time appeal to the same audience as well as a broader audience. The concept of One Man War is about how the power and determination of a single person can overcome unsurmountable obstacles. We wanted to avoid the typcial use of a silouetted 'tough' guy or a fist, or any of the other common icons for the industry, so we created a unique symbol. The symbol is formed by the negative space of each initial letter (O, M, and W). Although the symbol can stand on its own, it also works over other icons like seen here with a shield. We are also developing the website and marketing collateral, and will share those as always. Let us know what you think.

57/60 Confluence Project

We try to work with several communities by not only working with private business, but by working with the other 4 pillars of a community: government, community-based organizations, schools, and its residents. There is a proposed project that can reduce traffic and "Free the Way" (the campaign theme) for many commuters called the 57/60 Confluence Project. We are assisting the community by providing all of the alternatives to this project to educate them and help them decide which alternative will be best for them. In addition to developing the campaign theme, we have designed and developed all of the educational materials including this website: www.freetheway.org. Our hopes are that the community can come to a consensus on which alternative will work best for the communities involved, and that CalTrans will help fund the much needed project. Well, take a look and let us know what you think.

City of Perris - Growing Green - Tree Campaign

We are working with The City of Perris to develop a campaign to celebrate the City's efforts of planting 600 trees. We developed a campaign called "Growing Green" and are working to help the City to become a Tree City USA. We have developed the brand and are working on their education community outreach materials and dynamic website. This has been a great project, especially since it falls in line with our goals of changing the world. I mean that.

3G's - Three G's - Branding & Marketing

This is one of our clients we just completed. This was a rebranding campaign for a human resources company called Three G's ( 3G's ). We helped research this 30-year-old company to find new ways to modernize them to match their success. We modified their name to a numeric name from "three" to "3" and developed a new tagline to "Over 3 Decades of Success." We used gold tones with shine to give the feeling of prestige and honor which they definitely deserve. 3G's was a great project, matching the great team there. As always, let us know what you think.

The Daily Brew - Branding Campaign

This is one of our latest clients. The Daily Brew will be opening its first store in Montebello, California. Here are the mock-ups of the approved work including brand, logo, website, business cards and brochure. Let us know what you think.

New Year, New Clients - part 2

Fortunately, the beginning of the year has brought us a handful of exciting new clients, including Charades. Charades is a new themed nightclub opening this year in Los Angeles, CA. We are working on the branding, marketing materials, website, and more. Also, we are working with our good friend Charley Randazzo and Believe Entertainment to develop two reality-based TV shows.

Well, this year has got off to a great start. Hopefully it will continue just as strong. Once again... Happy New Year!!!

New Year, New Clients - part 1

We're happy to mention that we started relationship with a sports entertainment production company called, On Top Of The Game Productions. We'll be posting the latest artwork shortly.

The YMCA of East Los Angeles and the YMCA of Huntington Park have also hired us for a few projects. They both are in areas with a strong Latin culture, so each project will have its own branding that is styled to be received well by each community.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! We just started a new relationship with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and their Fellows Program. We are very excited about our first project with them, and will post it next month.

YMCA - Community Outreach Materials

We have a great relationship with the Montebello-Commerce YMCA. We have been fortunate to have been a part of several projects. Most recently, we have worked on a community outreach piece promoting their services. We developed a Program Guide that was very content heavy, which made it challenging to make it attractive and welcoming to read. Below we is the mocks of the guide. Hope you enjoy.

Il Caffe Sospeso - Branding Campaign

We were fortunate to create a relationship with a very talented gentleman and his company, Il Caffe Sospeso. Sospeso, in simple terms, is a coffee company based out of Tijuana, Mexico. He is one of only 167 people in the world to be certified as a Q grader which means he is certified from the planting and growing of the coffee beans to when it first hits your palette. Having tasted their product first hand, it is absolutely amazing. We are working with owners Alberto and Minako Song to develop a new brand, strategy, and marketing collateral to grow their already successful business. Look for their new website in the New Year at www.caffesospeso.com. The following are a few samples of some approved art work:
